Their Story

Education that improves opportunity

To be considered for a government job in the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan, applicants must pass one of the difficult RAS (Rajasthan Administration Services) exams. During the 2023-2024 fiscal year, nearly 700,000 people applied to be considered for one of just 905 open roles. Educational technology provider FliQi Education was founded in 2014 with the goal of making it easier for prospective applicants to study for RAS exams by providing affordable, high-quality online courses and practice tests.

In addition to courses and exams, FliQi Education offers interactive, one-on-one sessions for students, mentorship programs, live workshops and digital books that use QR codes to help supplement student learning with online video training resources that explain the most challenging topics.

Their Goal

Finding qualified leads in rural areas

For years, FliQi Education had attempted to reach potential students by using traditional outreach tactics such as SMS messages and in-person workshops. While these attempts succeeded in attracting new leads across a wide geographical region, FliQi had a difficult time finding qualified leads from the most rural areas of Rajasthan, where literacy and educational resources are low.

A new way to reach students

FliQi partnered with AiSensy, a Meta Business Partner, to develop a campaign of ads that click to WhatsApp in order to reach more qualified leads with higher accuracy.

The team used Advantage+ placements to deliver ads to men and women ages 21-45 across the Meta technologies where they’re most likely to see them. Ads were shown to people who’d previously liked or subscribed to RAS exam content across Meta technologies, helping ensure higher targeting accuracy.

After tapping an ad, potential students were directed to WhatsApp, where they could select the option to purchase a study product from FliQi. This helped the team ensure they were dealing with highly qualified leads from the outset.

From WhatsApp, interested students were directed to the FliQi app or website to purchase. After registering with FliQi, students received regular updates and notifications in the app. Additionally, they were sent notifications and practice exams on WhatsApp.

During this December 15, 2023—April 2, 2024 campaign, FliQi Education and AiSensy reported:
