Ads optimizing for leads deliver ads to people who are most likely to connect with your business and share their contact information. This option can help get your business in front of higher quality leads at a lower cost.

How to set up ad optimization for ads that click to WhatsApp:

Now that you’ve learned more about the different down funnel optimizations available for ads that click to WhatsApp, it’s time to give it a try! Once you decide which one will work best for your business goals you can follow these steps to set up your ad:

  1. Click the Create button to start creating your campaign.
  2. Select your campaign objective.
    1. For purchase optimization: Select Sales or Engagement as your campaign objective. Be sure that you opt for a manual campaign setup!
    2. For leads optimization: Select Leads as your campaign objective.
  3. Choose Messaging destinations as your conversion location and select WhatsApp as the Messaging destination for the campaign.
  4. Continue to set up your ads as usual and hit publish.

Once you’ve met the eligibility criteria, you’ll see the option to optimize for your business goal in Ads Manager. Go to Ads Manager, click + Create, then:
