Conversational online banking
To stay in regular touch with customers, nonocard used utility messages on WhatsApp to send payment reminders, transaction alerts and balance and bill notifications to cardholders. Customers could also send service messages to nonocard on WhatsApp, whereby they could request to turn off their card, send money to another nonocard or even pay for some products by sending a photo of the receipt to the automated assistant on WhatsApp. Nonocard also sends marketing messages on WhatsApp to promote registration and exclusive discounts, as well as encourage customers who’ve already started registration to complete the process.
