Improving the lead qualification process
Previously, the company handled all lead generation and development manually. Prospective buyers would message Engelife on WhatsApp after viewing an ad that clicks to WhatsApp or clicking the WhatsApp button on the company’s website. A team member would converse with the lead in real time via WhatsApp and try to get enough information to qualify the lead so the company could identify prospective buyers. But this process was slow and inefficient due to the high number of people that messaged the company on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp Flows
To streamline the process, Engelife developed an integrated leads screening experience using WhatsApp Flows on ads that click to WhatsApp that enabled the company to pre-qualify leads before continuing the conversation with an Engelife employee. Engelife created the WhatsApp Flows experience in Ads Manager at the same time it set up its ads. After clicking on an ad that clicks to WhatsApp, interested buyers could choose to provide their name and email address through the WhatsApp Flows form before being asked a series of automated questions to determine their interest and financial capacity to purchase a property from Engelife.
During the experience, a member of the sales team joined the conversation to ask if they’d like to visit the property (thereby tagging them as “qualified”) and schedule the visit, or begin the purchase process if the customer stated they were interested in buying. Customers not interested in buying were kept as leads in Engelife’s CRM database for future remarketing and follow-up offers.
