Segmented customer campaigns

Telkomsel’s Digital Advertising Group partnered with WhatsApp Business Partner Telin to deliver a campaign of WhatsApp messages featuring promotions and rewards for partner products, geotargeted to Telkomsel subscribers. For example, after entering a geofenced area, a Telkomsel user might receive a message on the Telkomsel Promo & Rewards WhatsApp channel that includes a voucher for a free cup of coffee, redeemable at a nearby coffee shop owned by one of Telkomsel’s advertising partners. Telkomsel gives its partner businesses the option to deliver messages to subscribers based on age group, location and average time spent online as well.

Other examples of offers sent during this campaign include juice vouchers, credit card applications, test drive appointment bookings and more. Depending on the product or offer, advertisers could also use carousel images in WhatsApp to showcase multiple product options, and enable customer orders or inventory checks directly from WhatsApp by using WhatsApp Flows, a solution that helps businesses design, build and personalize user journeys to meet a specific conversion goal, such as capturing lead information or finding a nearby store.
